Professor in Yeast Metabolic Engineering at Technical University of Denmark

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (DTU Biosustain) invites applications for a position as Professor in Yeast Metabolic Engineering.

The position involves research, publication, and scientific dissemination at a very high level. More translational activities will also play a key role.

The successful candidate is expected to be involved in teaching activities related to BSc and MSc students, and also in guidance and supervision of assistant professors, researchers, and PhD students. For international candidates, DTU can provide Danish language courses enabling the candidates to teach in Danish within 2-3 years.

The successful candidate is an internationally recognized expert of yeast metabolic engineering with a demonstrated track record of innovation.

The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed with the relevant union.
