The Department of Cell & Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan Medical School solicits applications from outstanding scholars fora tenured (Associate or Full Professor) faculty positionin a field directly relevant to developmental biology, including (but not limited to): early embryogenesis, organ formation and function, tissue repair, renewal, and regeneration, stem cell biology, organ engineering (including organoids), single cell biology of complex organs, and cellular reprogramming. Duties also include didactic teaching and/or mentorship of undergraduate, graduate and medical students and postdoctoral fellows.Successful candidates will join a collegial, interdisciplinary group of faculty, students and fellows, and have access to state-of-the art facilities (see

Applicants should hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree, and are expected to haveand maintain a cutting-edge and innovative research program as evidenced by a record of successful acquitisition of external funding and a robust publication record that includes first and senior authorship. Evidence of competence in didactic teaching and mentorship is also expected.
