Postdoc Fellow in Bioinformatics at University of Hong Kong

University of Hong Kong is offering postdoc position in computational biology. The funding allows successful candidates to work for three years in the first instance. Candidates are welcome before September 30, 2019.

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics in the Department of Pathology (Ref.: 498485), to commence as soon as possible for three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences, biological science, or a related discipline. They should be familiar with UNIX environment, computer programming and R language. Preference will be given to those with solid experience in cancer biology, genome biology, and next-generation sequencing analysis. Applicants should be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
