Monash University's Digital Health initiative is a cross-faculty and cross-university research growth area, engaging in a broad spectrum of socio-technical projects that address issues in patient-doctor interaction, optimal treatment decisions, patient-centred health monitoring and the creation of trustworthy data sharing and integration across healthcare systems and organisations. We will also be an integral part of Victorian Heart Hospital project, which will provide high-value med- tech innovation, delivering significant community health benefits.

We are looking for an outstanding academic to join our Faculty of Information Technology in the Software Engineering Subgroup. You will play a major part in a range of Digital Health initiatives, conducting research as part of a growing team of digital health researchers and teaching into the faculty's degree programs. You'll work closely with the Professor (Practice), Digital Health, in collaboration with the construction of the Victorian Heart Hospital.

As the successful candidate, you'll have a doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline area, along with recognised significant experience in the discipline area. A demonstrated track record in software systems research within health software, along with a commitment and capacity to apply software systems to, or a demonstrated track record in, applying software systems in health software within digital health research will also be strongly desired.
