Postdoc Position at University of Cambridge

A new postdoc position in molecular biology is available at University of Cambridge. Applications should be sent before February 27, 2019.

Applications are invited for a Research Associate position to work within Professor Margaret Robinson’s group at the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research (CIMR).

The Robinson lab works on coated vesicles and membrane traffic, using a range of techniques, including biochemistry, molecular biology, and light and electron microscopy. The successful applicant will investigate the AP-4 pathway, in particular its role in neurons and how it interacts with its partners.

The candidate must have a PhD in a relevant subject and experience in proteomics, gene editing, and microscopy. A strong background in cell biology is essential.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 30 June 2019 in the first instance.
